Lily starts Dayschool next week, 2 days a week. I'm a mix of emotions about it- excited to have some dedicated "mommy/work" time, nervous about how she'll behave with strange teachers & kids, worried about her picking up bad habits & stray illnesses, but mostly really glad she'll have this opportunity for socializing with kids her age.
The whole idea for her going started earlier this year because she would get really excited when kids came into the store & would sometimes cry when they left. It was so sad! She really doesn't have any playmates that aren't adults. There's a playdate here & there, and storytime once a week at the library, but Dayschool will be an all-new adventure for her and I can't wait to tell you how it goes!
